Íróasztaltól séfasztalig – és vissza: Dragomán György és Segal Viktor
14,500 Ft
The Nor/ma Stories series brings together words and flavors, creating evenings where storytelling and gastronomy intertwine. Writers, storytellers, experts, and artists guide us through the worlds of culture, food, and human destinies.
Just like love, gastronomy has always been one of literature’s timeless themes. Many Hungarian literary greats have told stories of poverty and wealth, joy and sorrow, even love itself – all through the tale of a single dish.
This evening, writer György Dragomán and chef Viktor Segal – two internationally acclaimed Hungarian creators – will explore together how literature and gastronomy meet at the table.
Dragomán’s novels have been translated into more than thirty languages worldwide, with The White King and The Bone Fire (Máglya) among his best-known works. His most recent book, Adjuk meg a módját! (“Let’s Do It Right”), reflects the very philosophy that defines both him and Segal: to give everything the care and attention it deserves.
Viktor Segal spent many years abroad as a chef before becoming a culinary consultant on both Hungarian and international projects. He is also the author of several acclaimed cookbooks (Picnic, Colors and Flavors). His belief: openness, imagination, and experimentation are what drive culinary arts forward.
The evening promises captivating stories, behind-the-scenes insights, and a gourmet dinner menu for guests to enjoy.
